Bonchari parliamentary aspirant Robert Oimeke has told Bonchari people not to be cheap and misled by politicians with poor leadership records.
Speaking at Suneka yesterday evening, Oimeke said that the current Mp from the constituency joined Omogusii unity movement to represent his own interests and not those of Bonchari people.
"Bonchari has been left behind for several years. Opore joining Omogusii unity does not mean he will bring goodies. He has never been in opposition. For all the years he has been in the government but no development projects he has initiated. This is the right time to tame poor leadership from this region", he said.
He accused Opore of blackmailing the people that Bonchari will get a tarmac road soon.
"Opore has taken poor Bonchari people as jokers. As we approach 2017 elections, he has started cheating people that there will be a tarmac road. Where has he been all these 15 years? He has failed to ensure the construction of Suneka airstrip, can he now cheat and convince people that he will bring a tarmac road to this area?" he stated.
He called upon constituents to vote wisely in 2017 and choose leaders who will represent them and bring development.
"The County representative aspirants from Bonchari and the Mp should show development record to be voted. Do not be cheap in 2017. Do not allow anyone to bribe you with Sh50 or Sh100. Your vote is more than the cheap money", he concluded.
