This comes after a number of county residents accused her of ‘not being in a stable relationship’, claims that she has since dismissed as malicious and unwarranted.

“I am disappointed that my political competitors can mobilise young people to taint my marital status in social media. It is wrong for people to meddle in my private life which I am entitled to,” she told the reporter in Monday’s exclusive interview.

“My marital status is personal and should not be subject to discussion. It is an infringement to my privacy when people discuss it without my consent. However, the claims that I am not in a stable relationship are malicious and unwarranted,” she added.

Chae revealed that she is in a stable relationship and dispelled speculations that she was married in Ukambani according to social media reports.

“I am in a stable relationship and I have a family in my Kitutu Masaba backyard. I am married in Kitutu Masaba and not Ukambani as a section of those propagandists are contending in social media platforms,” she added.

She urged youths to shun politicians who were dwelling on non-issues, and challenged them to side with leaders who were development oriented.

“It is time for our youths to shun politicians who are dwelling on non-issues like marriage and team with people who are ready to transform their lives positively. I am not immoral because I am born again. I have a family which people should respect,” she said.

Chae was widowed at the tender age of 29 after her husband Mariga Chae, a former Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation news anchor passed on before remarrying.
