Speaking in Solai on Wednesday, Njoroge accused  a section of politicians of making pre-judicial judgments against people indicted in the ongoing scams.

“Reckless rhetoric from insensitive leaders is bound to sow discord among citizens who have been lately unified,” he said.

The Archbishop made the remarks when  he visited and prayed for families displaced by last month’s Patel Dam disaster that killed 48 people among them 23 children.

He also delivered to the affected families food and other stuff donated by the church.

He used the occasion to urge surviving victims of the Solai tragedy to exercise patience as the Government addresses their plight to enable them rebuild their lives.

On his part, Subukia Member of Parliament Kinuthia Gachobe called on politicians in Nakuru County to refrain from antagonizing each other over the Solai tragedy but instead unite on the common front of helping to restore lives of surviving victims.

Gachobe urged affected families to work closely with the working committee that has been tasked with facilitating the reconstruction of their lives to ensure that all affected people are assisted.
