Speaking in Kithimani town, Ngui has condemned headteachers who are instructing teachers to sign without their representatives knowledge.

"I have heard there are principals who are picking appraisals and handing them to teachers to sign without our knowledge. We ask our teachers not to sign any performance contracts before we hold talks with the Teachers Service Commission on the terms of the agreements," said Ngui.

Ngui on Tuesday morning further stated that Knut was planning to hold talks with TSC and consult lawyers on the importance and maybe risks of signing the contracts.

However, the teachers have been advised that Knut will communicate effectively on the way forward.

"As Kenya teachers we stopped the contract signing process and we will communicate on the decision we agree with our employer," he added.
