Bomachoge Borabu MP Joel Onyancha has challenged media practitioners to be impartial in their reporting adding that the move will improve confidence among the public.

Onyancha further says partial reporting could plunge the country into chaos especially within the electioneering period.

"Media is essential in any society. Without it, we cannot be able to put our leaders on check. All we desire is impartial reporting," he said on Monday at Magenche.

He added: "We need unity among Kenyans and media should not propagate propaganda. We ought to be careful."

He urged the state to monitor media houses to avert any possible propaganda that could plunge the country into chaos.
