Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar has told off the opposition NASA for holding their anti-IEBC protests.

Omar said that there was no justicication for the opposition to go to the streets to protest over a commission that had not been found culpable of bungling the general election.

"If the Supreme Court did not find any criminal issue with the IEBC, who are you?" Omar asked the opposition.

He asked IEBC Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba to stay put and not leave office because of the opposition.

"Do your job you are a young man. You have a family to feed and integrity to protect. Do not be biased," he said.

The former senator urged Mombasa residents to come out in large numbers and vote President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in the repeat polls.
