Labour Cabinet Secretary Phylis Kandie is spearheading this arbitration to find a solution between striking Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union officials, the health ministry and the Council of Governors.

Talks between the three sides had on Friday collapsed with the doctors vowing not to return to work until the 2013 CBA agreement is fully implemented.

However, the government side is adamant as it wants the union officials to sign a return-to-work formula with provision of implementing the 2013 agreement in bits.

The doctors who want a 300 percent pay increase have vowed not to settle for anything less.
