The doctors union is set to sign Recognition Agreements and Collective Bargaining Agreements with the Council of Governors.

Council of Governors Chairman and Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok, the Kenya Medication Practitioners and Pharmacists Union and representatives from the 47 counties will witness and signing set for Thursday.

In June, the medics signed the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the National Government.

In the CBA, doctors basic pay and allowances are set to be increased.

This follows the end of a 100 day strike by doctors.
