Kenya Medical Practitioners Union officials have called on Kenyans to pray together with the medics in order to find a solution to the end the ongoing strike.
KMPDU Secretary General Ouma Olunga making the appeal on Sunday said that the government has sidelined them in finding a solution to the impasse.
According to Olunga, the union has offered the government with seven proposals on how to implement the contentious 2013 CBA without hurting the country's economy.
However, Oluga said that the government has stuck with the 40 per cent salary increase proposal.
According to the doctors, the government should implement the 2013 CBA that stated that doctor's salaries will be increased by 300 per cent.
The strike which began last year December has paralyzed operations in public hospitals, something that has led to loss of lives in different parts of the country.
