Kilimani OCS have been ordered by The Labour Relations Court to serve officials of Nurses and Doctors Union with a court order issued last week that had suspended the ongoing strike.
Judge Helen Wasilwa at the same time ordered the officials to appear in court next Tuesday to show cause why they should not be committed to civil jail for disobeying a court order.
This comes after the doctors strike entered the third day Wednesday leading to suffering of patients in public hospitals with reports of at least 10 patients.
Judge Wasilwa said she will not hesitate to issues warrants of arrest if they fail to appear in court as required.
Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday urged the unions to give the ongoing dialogue a chance and return to work as the government works on resolving the stalemate.
