The Central Organization of Trade union- COTU has called on doctors to join striking nurses.
According to COTU, the move will pile pressure on the National and County Governments to sign and register the nurses’ Collective Bargaining Agreement in Court.
COTU Deputy Secretary General Ernest Nadome expressed his displeasure with government’s silence on the issue.
Public hospitals are the easiest health service to access for the vast majority of Kenyans. The healthcare workers have been on strike for the last 52 days.
