The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has released the first statement regarding the ongoing repeat poll which has confused many.
According to chairman Mr Wafula Chebukati, there will be repeat polls in Migori, Kisumu, Siaya, and Homa Bay counties on Saturday, October 28.
His announcement to hold another poll on Saturday means Kenyans will have to wait longer through the weekend to know who becomes the next president of Kenya.
It is also interesting to note then if NASA supporters have failed to turn out today, will they have a change of heart by Saturday? And if not will they IEBC go ahead and announce the winner without their vote being counted?
However, according to lawyer Charles Kanjama, Chebukati can still announce the winner without depending on the results from the four counties if President Uhuru Kenyatta manages to get 25 percent votes in at least half of the 47 counties.
