NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has dismissed claims that he is scouting for a coalition government ahead of the fresh of the election. Speaking during an exclusive interview on KTN, Raila said that allegations that he is gearing up for a Nusu Mkate government are baseless and driven by Jubilee politicians because they have sensed defeat.

The former Prime Minister also exuded confidence that he has what it takes to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto hands down when that time comes.

“That's what Jubilee would want to make people believe, Nusu Mkate(coalition government). We are sure we can win this election if it is fair,” he said, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Leader also denied allegations that he intends to boycott the forthcoming fresh election and that he would boycott the election until certain conditions are met by the IEBC.

“We have not said we will boycott an election, which media is framing. We are saying there will be no elections if our demands are not met. For there to be elections, there have to be parties to contest. Jubilee candidate can go ahead and be declared the winner unopposed,” he added.
