Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, posted a photo on his Facebook account, eliciting mixed reactions from his followers.
Kuria who is known for strong criticism towards the Opposition's Nasa, shared a photo of five Nasa principals, with their hands on their chests in a public rally.The five, usually identify themselves with this guide of pose, as a symbol of Nasa unity.At the same time, he posted a photo of politicians, who decided to vie as Independent candidates, after losing in Jubilee Party primaries. The politicians, had mimicked Nasa's pose, by putting their hands on their chests as well.Kuria's post attracted mixed reactions from his followers, given that many of them know, that the gesture or symbol is familiar with the Opposition.Some of the Independent candidates in the photo were Kiambu governor William Kabogo, who seeks to defend his seat, and Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant, Bundotich Buzeki. The two were appointed chairman and deputy of the Kenya Alliance of Independent Candidates (KAIC), respectively, as they pledged support for president Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.Did this mean the Independent Candidates support Nasa's agenda or they just 'copied' the Nasa symbol of unity?

This nonsense of crossing hands on the chest for the national anthem by all of us ought to stop.We honour our flag by standing attention.Educate so called law makers...on both pictures. This is not a politicized post. Those hurling insults I wish you would take time and understand the content.Yes, the standard and acceptable procedure is to stand with your arms parallel to your torso (body) simply, to standard attention...May we learn to be at peace with all.

They have to make sure they hold on to their weak hearts. mm i have been a supporter of Uhuru but i have decamped to NASA...due to the cost of living has shot up , i closed down my business due to corruption from govt officials ....

This critic mr Moses Kuria looks so cheap especially from a leader like you since we know a number of this independent candidates especially in in central kenya are fully supporting Uhuru kenyatta
The message kuria sent is not about the standing style of the anthem. He is associating the independents with baba. But his messages is in particular to kabogo. He wants him totally out of politics especially in kiambu. In central and part of rift valley you are done politically if u are for baba. That's what the photo stands for.
This just calls to show this guys do not respect our constitution,Raila might become Mugabe if he wins i mean he can't even follow simple laws of our land,how will he honor the serious one's.

A really pity the so called independent candidates coz the voters who rejected them during the recent party primaries will still be the one voting during the general elections, let them Prepare to suffer from a humiliating defeat. Let them not waste their tym & money. Being independent doesn't guarantee one victory. Wananachi are the ones to decide.

Kenyans vote independent at your own peril that's if you know the meaning of the word independent 'their answers to your problems will be " you know I don't belong to any party and so to lobby for that project has proved hard "
Moses kuria umehamia NASA. I see all your posts campaigning for NASA.why can't you do it for your boss who has been supervising corruption? Why don't you tell Kenyans what jubilee has done to earn them votes?
