Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba has cautioned Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula against playing second fiddle in the race to choose the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer.“For how long will members of the Luhya community support people from other communities?” Ababu said in Kimait, Bungoma West sub county on Sunday after opening a Labour Party office in Bumula. The four NASA principals, Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Mudavadi and Wetangula are currently in a retreat in Kilifi hammering a deal expected to produce a presidential line-up that will take on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in the August 8 general election. There has been intense lobbying by MPs from the four parties constituting NASA for their respective party leader to be chosen as the NASA presidential flag bearer.Mudavadi on March 12, told his NASA co-principals to give him the chance to be presidential candidate since he is best fitted to send President Uhuru home.
