Kabete constituency aspirant Ferdinand Waititu has called on Kiambu residents not to be fooled by petty politics and mere developments by the county government of Kiambu.
Speaking in Limuru town during his campaign on Wednesday, Waititu said that Kiambu people are tired of empty promises and the time for change has come to tame the demagogues.
He said that Kiambu County is suffering with lack of employment for the youths and suffering of traders saying that a section of Kiambu leaders are benefiting from the cry of common Mwananchi.
The former Embakasi MP further cautioned a section of leaders not to be fooled by empty politics to be in cahoots with leaders who know nothing but suppress the citizens saying the axe is looming and soon those citizens they are infringing their rights will crack the whip come 2017.
He has called on Kabete residents to vote him in to make a difference and create a path for him to clinch the gubernatorial seat come next election.
The TNA aspirant urged residents to be calm as they await the change promising to continue in the footsteps of the late Kabete MP George Muchai, in validating the dreams of Kabete constituency.
He revealed that a good number of Kiambu leaders are in favor of him to be the next governor and the people of Kiambu should not let him down but give him the chance to lead a very productive county.
He promised cases of unemployment for the youths, embezzlements, drugs abuse and over taxation will be something of the past during his regime as the governor.
