"You won't give a person two vehicles, two security officers, secretaries, a big office and salary and then he demands consultation when performing your core mandate regarding the Cabinet, governor you need to act," said Ong'ombe.

He spoke Wednesday during the opening of Nyamwetureko dispensary which was commissioned by Nyagarama.

On Monday, the deputy governor disowned Nyagarama over the recent Cabinet reshuffle saying he was not consulted.

"I was not in the country and have come to learn that reshuffle has been done without my knowledge or consultation. How can you reshuffle ministers who have integrity issues, who can't perform, he could have rather sent them home," said Nyaribo when he responded to the changes made by his senior.

Ong'ombe's remarks come a day after a principal communication officer Dan Onyancha termed deputy governors as 'flower girls' or 'accidents' in county government who have no say on their regions progress.

"All Deputy governors are flower girls in establishments. The law has not given them any meaningful powers. They are itching and always vicious. From Machakos, through Narok, Nyandarua Kisii to Kisumu is the same story," said Onyancha
