Ford Kenya Party Secretary General Yasser Bajaber has accused Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua of ‘biting the hand that fed him”.
Speaking in response to Mutua action to link Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to land grabbing in Mavoko, Yasser said that Mutua has been too quick to forget how Kalonzo raised him to become who he is in the political arena.
Yasser also said that Mutua is wrong to claim that Kalonzo is among the politicians who grabbed 4000 acres of land in Machakos County.
His sentiments come barely a week after Machakos Governor Johnstone Muthama alleged that Mutua was hatching a plot to bar Kalonzo from vying for presidency.
The Ukambani political kingpin has been taken to the task of clearing his name with the National Lands commission (NLC) and Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
If Kalonzo is found guilty of the offense, he not only stands to face jail term and fine but also barred from contesting for the Presidential seat in the next general elections.
Mutua's actions contradict opinions of the likes of Siaya Senator James Orengo who termed Kalonzo as the most God-fearing politician in the nation at the moment.
The land grabbing claims made by the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader have caused a storm in Ukambani.
