Bomet county governor Joyce Laboso has urged Bomet county residents not to call her your excellency.
According to the Jubilee governor, she is determined to deliver to the residents and make their lives meaningful not titles.
Laboso also told Bomet county staffs not to carry special chairs for her to functions.
Instead, she said she will comfortably sit on the seats used by the residents of Bomet as long she delivers services to the people.
"I will not want to see a special seat being carried around for me. I do not have time for luxury, my staff's energy should be channeled to service delivery not trying to please me", said Laboso as quoted by Standard.
Laboso defeated former governor Isaac Rutto in the August 8 polls.
