Deputy President William Ruto should not campaign in Nakuru during the 2022 presidential race because all the votes are his, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has said.
Speaking on Sunday during a function attended by the DP at Bahati constituency, Kihika said the region will rally behind Ruto.
“Bwana DP, in Nakuru you don’t even need to campaign. These votes are already yours and come 2022, they will all end up in your basket,” Kihika said.
In what appeared like a 2022 chorus, all the MPs who spoke were categorical they are behind the DP.
“We know the peace we have had seen His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto took power. We need to elect Ruto in 2022 so as to continue with this peace,” Bahati MP Kimani Ngunji said.
Naivasha MP Jane Kihara did not miss out on the chorus too.
“We would like to assure the Deputy President that Naivasha which has the highest number of registered voters will vote for him to a man,” she said.
