The business community in Uasin Gishu has been assured of their security especially at this time that the country is heading to the repeat Presidential poll.
Uasin Gishu deputy governor Daniel Chemno says businesspersons should not worry about the safety of their investments as security has been beefed up across the county.Speaking in Eldoret on Saturday, Chemno assured that the October 26 poll will be peaceful in the county.He asked businesspersons not to close down their businesses."This county has always been peaceful during elections and I want to assure the business community that even as we head to the repeat poll, peace shall be maintained," Chemno said."Security team has put all measures in place to safeguard every person's property and the business community should have nothing to worry. There will be no need for them to close their businesses or travel out of this county," he added.The deputy governor further asked residents to maintain peace and unity before, during and after the elections.
