This comes after Kimilili lawmaker Didmus Barasa, who was elected on a Jubilee ticket, cautioned the former Prime Minister from setting foot in Wetangula’s home county, Bugoma.

The legislator said that even though the leaders of Western Kenya supports the move by Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM leaders should not ignore Western leaders.

“If ODM leaders and Raila think they would use the new-found friendship to belittle leaders from Western, they will be in for a rude shock,” said the Jubilee MP speaking at Machaka primary school on Saturday.

He also reminded people of the relationship between the NASA leader and the late Kijana Wamalwa saying that Wamalwa walked with Raila and got hurt.

The member of parliament concluded that they (western leaders) will not allow Raila to do the same to the Bugoma senator, Moses Wetangula.“From history, we know our late brother Kijana Wamalwa walked with Raila and got hurt,” said Hon Barasa adding that, “He want to do the same to Wetangula. We will not allow that; our community will not be belittled.”
