President Uhuru Kenyatta took a swipe at the Opposition, after it warned him and the entire Jubilee administration, against any attempts to rig in the upcoming general election.
Cord, led by its leader Raila Odinga, ODM deputy party leader Ali Hassan Joho, Ford Kenya deputy party leader Bonny Khalwale, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, among others, warned Jubilee that they should forget stealing votes in the election.
However, Uhuru accused them of using threats to destabilise the Country's cohesion.
He said he could not be threatened by anyone, since he knew best how to handle everything in the Country, as the president.
"Instead of thinking on how best to solve issues in case there will be a problem during election, they are threatening me. Do I look like someone who can be threatened? Do not threaten me, don't dare threaten me. Think of how best to address your failures,'' Uhuru told the Opposition, Wednesday.
Cord has been accusing Jubilee of plotting to rig elections, by using the National Intelligence Service (NIS), to register foreigners from Uganda and Ethiopia, as voters.
The government has however dismissed the claims, accusing Raila of using propaganda to polarise the country, after sensing defeat.
Uhuru was speaking when he met residents in Eastern Kenya, during a mass voter registration campaign.
