NASA supporters in Kisumu county have been urged to maintain peace and order during their demos charged on calling for resignation of some officials in the electoral body - IEBC.
While addressing a group of supporters, Deputy governor Mathews Owili has advised them to avert from any kind of behavior that may lead to destruction of property.
“I am pleading with you please, don’t destroy our property because it is ours and we should protect it since it benefit the people of this county,”said Owili.
He also reiterated that NASA will not participate in the repeat elections.
“I want to tell president Uhuru Kenyatta that we are not going to bow down to his governments demands.”
He insisted that reforms in the IEBC are their only call for an election to happen as planned.
