Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali said NASA team have no authority to guide the electoral body in election matters.
According to the MP, NASA has no constitutional mandate to intimidate IEBC commissioners whose is protected by the law.
"Raila is not a commissioner at IEBC. Why should he be the topic every time when it comes to election matters? It is the same IEBC that conducted elections of the opposition's MPs. NASA should desist giving endless demands to IEBC", said Washiali.
He said a detailed ruling being waited from the Supreme Court will show the illegalities and irregularities committed by IEBC officials.
“The NASA team led by Raila Odinga have no good reason to dictate on how to remove IEBC officers from office. Legal procedures should be followed,” added.
The chief whip of the National Assembly noted that Raila should concentrate on his presidential candidature and campaigns.
"For free, fair and credible polls in Kenya, Raila should remain a player and not a referee", he said.
