Student Union leader turned political activist Babu Owino now wants voters to elect strictly handsome leaders.
Owino said voters should be able to elect a handsome leader who by only looking at him, gives them hope of a brighter future.
“There are some leaders who are very ugly so much that when residents look at them, they feel like losing hope in life. Therefore elect handsome leaders like me who will serve you well and give you hope every time,” said Owino.
He stated that those leaders who are ugly only remind you of your tribulations.
Owino added that voters should elect youthful leaders who can fight for them and not just those who sleep in Parliament and cannot join demonstrations.
He was speaking at a women forum in Embakasi East where is set to contest for the parliamentary seat.
He promised to support and empower them economically for them to sustain themselves.
“I will organize for fundraisers for all the women groups in Embakasi East. I want women groups to register companies so that I can link them to institutions for tenders,” he said.
Owino also called for unity among the aspirants to help all the residents of Embakasi East.
