Kisii county commissioner Kula Hache has warned police officers who defend people that involved in defilement cases.
According to Hache, it has been noticed that many of the people who involve in such cases get defended by some of the police officers without facing the court.
Hache who addressed the press in Kisii town said a serious action should be taken against those who are involved in rape cases.
“Once somebody is involved in a rape case he should be arrested and taken to court this kind of police officers who defend such culprit cannot be allowed to thrive in Kisii county,” said Hache.
“Once the culprit faces the court and if found guilty others will learn a lesson from the action that will be taken against,” she added.
The county commissioner urged Kisii county parents to take care of their children by advising them on how to live in a society
