Kakamega Senator Bony Khalwale has told Kenyans not to expect much from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Khalwale said Kenyans will have to blame themselves for voting in a president who does not care about the plight of the common Kenyan.
He said for the last four years when Uhuru has been president Kenyans have achieved little economically.
"The President without shame told Kenyans that swallowing saliva is not eating meat," he said in a video posted online by Citizen Digital.
"Am telling you, Mr President, you have finally confirmed what I had always said. You said you were not elected to serve Kenyans but to you were elected to eat Kenyan's resources."
Uhuru during the burial of former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama in Narok recently told opposition politicians to continue swallowing saliva as they (Jubilee) continue to eat meat.
The statement rattled opposition leaders who told off the president for 'laughing at' problems bedeviling Kenyans.
Khalwale said the Jubilee administration has little to boast of as it has failed to fulfill its election pledges.
"Listen Kenyans, the meat the President was referring to was Eurobond, Standard Guage Railway line and money that was meant for buying laptops for our children.
