Police officers in Naivasha, Nakuru have urged locals not to be tricked by fraudsters who have invaded Naivasha town.
Naivasha police boss Titus Mathuku said the latest incident, a victim lost Sh105,000 to a fraudster who sweet talked him on grounds that he was working with a multinational bank.
“Locals should avoid transacting businesses with people they are not familiar with. Fraudsters are using tricks to steal from innocent locals,” he said.
He assured that police will arrest and prosecute fraudsters.
“Members of the public should work closely with police officers to ensure fraudsters hiding in villages are arrested and taken to court,” he added.
