A section of Kisii county leaders who have shown interests of joining Jubilee party has been told to distance from forcing the community to join the party
According to Ford People political party coordinator, Steve Arika who is against dissolving the party to join Jubilee has said Omogusii community can’t be forced to join Jubilee.
Addressing the press on Sunday in Kisii town, Arika accused some of Kisii county leaders led by Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi for trying to force Kisii community to join Jubilee party.
“When somebody needs to join Jubilee please joins without being forced how comes Joash Maangi who is in ODM forces our Ford People party to be dissolved to join Jubilee leaving ODM party which accorded him to leadership?" said Arika.
“Let leaders stop forcing us to join Jubilee by dissolving our Omogusii party,” he added.
On Friday Ford People party was dissolved to join Jubilee something that Arika who is the party coordinator has opposed.
