Addressing parents who attended Education day at Kisii High school on Friday Mr Mbugi challenged them to avoid giving plastic life to their children and instead tell them the truth of life struggle.

“As parents, it is our responsibility to tell our children what it is, they should struggle in schools to better their life, let us stop giving them plastic life," said Mbugi.

The DCC said that parents should not let the children be comfortable that whatever the parents owns they have shares.

“Let your children know how you struggled to have what you have so that he can also struggle to have it better in future than depending on what you have,” noted Mbugi.

“Let them understand that life is what your make through struggling, let them know the objective in life, life is what you make more so when you have an opportunity of being in school,” he added.

He also noted that some children feel comfortable about the assets their parents they have at home but it is time for parents to tell them that they have no share so that they can work hard in achieving theirs'.
