Religious leaders have been hailed for their effort to bring reconciliation into the anti-IEBC stalemate by meeting the interested parties.
According to Pastor Ronald Ogentoto of Matutu PAG church in Gesima ward, the religious leaders are taking their right role in spearheading peace in the country.
Ogentoto said that the role of the church is to make sure that there is peace hence the church leaders have done it well.
“What our church leaders from all denominations are doing is the right way to go, I congratulate them as we hope that they are going to get a better solution from the warring parties,” said Ogentoto.
“The leaders from various denominations have really shown that Kenya is big than individuals by coming together and I Advise all people to know that's the way to go," he added.
In addition, he said that the Cord needs to call off the demonstrations since it is affecting our economy.
“we urge that the Cord principals to call off the demonstration rather than suspending it, since when you suspend something it means it is still hot we urge them to call it off,” added Ogentoto.
