 1. Fort Jesus.

Fort Jesus is a fort located on Mombasa island. It was built by the Portuguese between the period spanning from 1593 - 1596 by the order of king Philip I. Fort Jesus is a nice place to visit when in Mombasa, at present it also houses a museum.

The fort is open everyday but not Sundays. Entry fee for residents is ksh 200 for adults and ksh 100 for children.

 2. Mombasa Tusks.

This is a prominent landmark in the city of Mombasa which is Located in the Moi Avenue of Mombasa. These metal Tusks were built in the year 1952. The Tusks can be visited any time and time at zero fee.

3. Haller Park.

Haller Park is a nature park located off Mombasa-Malindi road in Bamburi. This park has a fish farm area, giraffe viewing platform, crocodiles, Game sanctuary and many other things. It's a home to a wide range of wild animals, it's a must visit if you love nature. The park is open from 9am to 6pm daily and the entry fee is ksh 1400.

 4. Mamba village.

Mamba village is located on the beach road round about off links road in Nyali, Mombasa. It is the largest crocodile farm in East Africa. When in Mombasa visit this place and you will learn more about this fascinating amphibians. The park is open daily from 9am to 6pm.

5. The beaches.

Mombasa has the best beaches. There are a number of them you may like to visit when in Mombasa. Here is a list of some.

Diani beach - 30 km south of Mombasa city.

Nyali beach - 5km from Mombasa CBD.

Pirate beach - this famous beach is also know as Jomo Kenyatta public beach. Located 10 km from city centre on the strech of Bamburi beach.
