Raila who spoke in Luanda, Vihiga when he officiated at the launch of a football tournament at Vihiga stadium said failing to register as voters would mean Jubilee will have a field day in August 8, 2017.

"Next year's election will either be won or lost within the thirty days the IEBC will register voters," he said.

The IEBC is expected to roll out a voter registration exercise between January 16, and February 15, 2017.

"Let's put jokes aside. Our people should come out in large numbers and register as voters. We only have 30 days to register. I already know there are many people in this region who have ID cards but are not registered as voters."

He likened himself to a hunter who should be escorted to the forest to shoot down the animal he has already spotted.

"Unless you support me, I will fail," Raila added.

"That's why I will always keep on reminding you to come out in large numbers to register as voters. Those people will not manage us if register fully as voters."

He visited Vihiga one day after President Uhuru Kenyatta concluded his tour of the Western region on Friday.
