The leaders led by Steve Arika and Dennis Orioki urged those who are not satisfied with the way Matiang’i is running the education ministry to give ample time for the Cs to work because he was appointed to serve Kenyans.
Arika commended the Ministry of Education for ensuring that the exams were marked and results released in time to enable parents to prepare their children to report to colleges and universities within a stipulated time without delay.
He said those schools that didn’t perform well should work hard and excel in the future exams.
“KNUT and KUPPET officials led by Wilson Sossion and Omboko Milemba should stop politicizing the education sector. Matiang’i is doing a commendable job which should not be criticized,” said Arika.
Orioki accused NASA leader Raila Odinga of having ill plans against the education sector.
“Raila should know education ministry is different from politics. He is a national leader who should lead by example and stop unnecessary criticism on how the exams were marked. The marking of 2017 KCSE exams was credible,” he said.
