The MP wants locals to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta saying that Uhuru’s government is the only government that will transform the region.

Musyoka said that locals have a chance to benefit in terms of development if they endorse Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017.

“Our appeal is to Kamba locals to support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid come next year,” he said during a briefing with journalists at Machakos town on Thursday.

The MP who recently defected from Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) said that the opposition has nothing to offer Kambas.

“Don’t be cheated by the opposition because they have no chance of making the government in 2017,” he said.

The MP at the same time urged former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu to work with the Jubilee Party instead of heading to the opposition.

The MP says that Ngilu will not benefit because the opposition will not form government in 2017.

“I want to ask Ngilu to consider working with the Jubilee party because in Cord she will gain nothing,” he said.

There have been speculations that Ngilu is on the verge of joining the Raila Odinga led opposition.

Ngilu was suspended as Lands CS last year over graft allegations.

During the burial of Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti’s husband on Friday last week in Machakos, Ngilu hinted that she might work with Cord.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is said to be luring the former CS to join the opposition ahead of the 2017 elections.
