Women who don’t know how to cook might end up being spinsters all their lives.
That is if men in Nakuru heed to one Nigerian pastor's advice not to marry women without culinary skills.
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye says that if men ignore the advice, they will be forced to buy food from hotels which is costly.
Adeboye, who is the head of Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria, has caused a buzz on social media after also asking men not to marry women who cannot pray for at least one hour.
Through his sermon that was televised in the said country, Pastor Adeboye also insisted that men shouldn’t marry a woman just because she can sing.
His message which was posted on social media has now elicited sharp reaction with some saying that he is inciting men against women.
However, there are those who support him in warning men against marrying lazy women.
His sentiments come a few days after Classic FM’s Maina and King’ang’i posed a question on their breakfast show asking whether it is true that Kikuyu women do not know how to cook.
It is a topic that created a lot of buzz with most of the callers stating that ladies from Central Province do not know how to cook.
Some even went ahead to state that the ladies from that community are well-known for baptizing meals in the name of soup while others added that the said ladies are known for mixing all sorts of ingredients.
