Manga district Bodaboda operators have been urged to close their business before 8 pm to avoid being terrorised by crime gangs.
Speaking in Magombo town, district police boss Sammy Olemiyoki noted that recently bodaboda operators have been experiencing hard times in dispensing their services mostly at night.
Olemiyoki said since they are terrorised by crime gangs and their motorbikes taken away then they should alway close their businesses earlier before 8 pm to avoid being terrorised.
“There are unknown people who terrorise our bodaboda riders when while in business," said Olemiyoki.
“I am urging Bodaboda riders in Magombo district to close their business before 8pm since crime cases have been on a rise to avoid being terrorised by such people in this area," added Olemiyoki.
He also said two people who were alleged to be involved in terrorising bodaboda operators in the area have already been arrested.
