An ODM governor has been warned against sitting next to his party leader Raila Odinga during public rallies.
Homa Bay gubernatorial aspirant Oyugi Magwanga criticised the incumbent, Cyprian Awiti, for always sitting next to Raila whenever he visits the county.
Magwanga argued that the governor always seats next to the ODM Party leader with the intention of confusing area residents, who respect him (Raila).
The aspirant warned Governor Awiti to keep off the former Prime Minister whenever he visits the county.
“Governor Awiti has perfected the art of sitting next to Raila at every public rally and this is meant to confuse residents because he knows he has completely failed. Let him be warned to keep off from Raila's coat,” said Magwanga, as quoted by kenyans.co.ke.
Magwanga also urged residents in the county to register as voters in large numbers, in a bid to take part in the upcoming polls.
