Nakuru woman representative Mary Mbugua has appealed to the society not to stigmatise cancer patients.

Speaking at Kinamba, Naivasha when she met women's groups in the area, the MP said women suffering from the disease should not be stigmatised by society.

"Cancer patients should not face stigma, we should embrace them," added Mbugua. 

Meanwhile, she has called on women to join or form groups so that they can benefit from the Women Enterprise Fund and other funds spearhedaed by the county and national governments.
