Outspoken Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter has launched a scathing attack against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto over the runaway corruption in the country.
The lawmaker stated that he will not defend his seat on a Jubilee Party ticket as he is weighing on his next step.
However, he hinted that he may run as an independent candidate or join another party.
According to the legislator who has always been a fierce critic of the current regime, the economy is almost collapsing because of corruption.
"You can quote me on this. Anyone you see supporting Jubilee is either stupid or corrupt," Keter was quoted by the Star recently as saying.
He urged Kenyans to vote out the Jubilee duo come the 2017 polls.
"We should now be talking about their replacement with someone who will help Kenya because, definitely, it not Uhuru and Ruto. They have not done anything for this country," he added.
The controversial MP further said the President and his deputy are playing tribal politics, using the Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities.
However, he said they cannot show what they have done for the two communities.
The MP who has in the past faced it rough within the Jubilee ranks said he has nothing against anyone as he is only interested in fighting graft.
