Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has asked youth across the country not to vote for NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga, claiming that he has no agenda for young people and marginalized groups.

Addressing youth in Kwale Town on Tuesday, the ODM rebel governor claimed that NASA has not outlined what it intends to do for young people if its wins the August 8 polls.He asked youth to shun the Raila- led alliance claiming that its only agenda is to use young people as weapons of violence.“The only thing Raila has for young people is to use them as weapons of causing and instigating violence,” said Mvurya, as quoted by the Standard.The Governor asked youth to support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid, arguing that the Jubilee government will cater for the interests of youth, women and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD).“For the last four years, the Jubilee government has been pushing for key reforms that have created millions of employment opportunities for the youth,” he said.The county boss appealed to young people to shun politicians who might want to sway them to violence. He asked them to be peace ambassadors and preach unity as the country prepares for the August 8 general election.
