Siaya Senator James Orengo has told the church to reject money form corrupt politicians.
Orengo who spoke in Funyula constituency during the burial of Funyula MP Paul Otuoma's son, Malcolm Otuoma said the church should scrutinize the source of money politicians give as offerings.
"When somebody comes to give offerings, scrutinize the money to know whether the money was stolen or it's good money," he said amid applause.
"Because if the church loses direction, then all of us will lose direction."
ODM, the party through which Orengo was elected in 2013 has accused the Jubilee administration of orchestrating high-profile corruption.
The party particularly accuses seasoned politicians in Jubilee of dishing out money whose source is not known.
At one time the opposition accused a re-known Jubilee politician of dishing out a whole Sh7 million in fundraisers within a week.
