Opposition leader Raila Odinga has hit out at the Deputy President William Ruto over the 2022 presidential race.

Speaking in the UK, Raila said Ruto’s power sharing agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta is a ‘bedroom agreement’.

“Don’t come to tell us about what you had agreed on supporting each other up to 2022, that is bedroom agreements,” Raila said.

There is an ‘agreement’ within Jubilee circles that was entered into in 2013 where Ruto was supposed to support Uhuru for two terms and then he (Uhuru) reciprocates the same after retiring.

Ruto’s allies have been complaining over the recent handshake between Raila and Uhuru claiming it is meant to sabotage the agreement.
