Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori has hit out at his party leader Raila Odinga, following his March 9, handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Dori who has declared his support for Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid, told off individuals who are questioning his trust in ODM after shifting allegiance to Ruto.
He said nobody should blame him for supporting Ruto since it was the ODM party leader who initiated the move.
Dori wondered why Odinga declared support for Uhuru despite all the efforts that had been made by the opposition to save the country from Jubilee government.
He also slammed Raila for his relationship with Kenyatta, saying he did not consult anyone before the handshake.
"Nobody should tell us that he shook hands because of the country's security, is he the army general? Nobody should judge me about my support for Ruto because its for the betterment of my people," said Dori.
The lawmaker's sentiments were echoed by his colleagues, Benjamin Tayari (Kinango) and Kassim Tandaza (Matuga).
They were speaking at Shimba Hills in Matuga during homecoming of Kubo South MCA Andrew Mulei, the Kwale County Deputy Speaker.
