Former Kaiti MP Gideon Ndambuki has warned Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana against using county resources to campaign for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga ahead of repeat election slated for next month.

Kivutha is a close ally to Wiper's boss Kalonzo Musyoka- Raila's running mate.

According to Ndambuki, Kibwana allegedly misappropriated funds meant for development to campaign for the Opposition alliance in the August 8 elections.

"He should not use county resources in campaigns as it happened before," cautioned Ndambuki speaking during a consultative meeting with Ukambani leaders supporting the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday.

The caution by the politician comes barely a day after NASA announced that members will be required to contribute towards the campaigns.

"We have held a successful meeting and we have agreed that each member of the coalition will have to contribute towards a successful campaigns. Payments will be made in our respective party accounts,"said ODM chairman John Mbadi, after a meeting at Wiper's headquarters in Lavington.
