Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo has accused president Uhuru Kenyatta of weeping up emotions around the issue of the International Criminal court (ICC).

Uhuru while in his tour in Kisii County, Wednesday, accused the former prime minister Raila Odinga of igniting the 2007/2008 post-election violence.

The ODM legislature stated it was very unfortunate for the president to remind Kenyans who murdered their loved ones.

“When you go to Kisii and talk to Kisii’s about who killed and who didn’t kill, and they know people who killed them, I think it is very unfair to Kenyans. It’s like dancing on the grave of victims,” said Millie.

“I think it’s unfair as a country whether it is for the purposes of power for us to be dancing over the graves of people who went through traumatizing events,” she added.

Speaking during a television interview, Thursday, the outspoken lawmaker further asked the president to be cautious with his remarks and keep off unearthing the Hague matters with an aim of drumming up his support.

“Let the president look for something else to galvanize his support base but ICC, extremely unfortunate. He shouldn’t go that direction.
