(Photo: the-star.co.ke)Garissa Governor Nathif Jama has launched a scathing attack on his Jubilee party rival Ali Bunow Korane, claiming that the former Permanent Secretary (PS) is a political sycophant of National Assembly leader of Majority Aden Duale.
Addressing supporters during a campaign tour of Masalani on Tuesday, Jama claimed that Korane is being funded by Duale politically.
The Wiper governor said that the former PS cannot survive politically without Duale’s help.
Jama went on to claim that Korane does not have an agenda for the people and is only being sponsored to fulfill his own personal interests.
“I want advice Garissa people to be careful and scrutinize these people who are seeking various seats because majority of them do not have development agendas,” he said.
Jama claimed Korane does not have the experienced to manage and run county affairs.
Governor Jama said that it will be disastrous if people like Korane end up being elected adding that voters have to be wise.
Jama claimed that Korane failed to initiate development when he served as PS and should be rejected at the ballot.
Jama said that Garissa needs visionary leaders who will propel its development agenda forward.
Governor Jama exuded confidence of being re-elected, saying his development track record speaks for itself.
Korane is eyeing Jama’s seat band has vowed to send him home come August 8. The former PS enjoys Garissa Township MP Aden Duale’s support for the gubernatorial seat.
