Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto has called upon the Kisii residents to ensure that they support the ruling party and gain more instead of wasting their time supporting the opposition that has nothing to offer.
Speaking on Wednesday while presiding over the International Day for Older Persons' celebrations at Gusii Stadium Ruto said he has been touring Gusii County to ensure that they realize the beauty of being in the government.
“We have been working closely with some of the leaders from the region and we will ensure that the region develops economically so that the livelihoods of the residents improve from the current poverty,” he added.
Ruto also called upon the leaders to ensure that they popularise the Jubilee party to all locals above all ensure that they understand the beauty of being in government and what they stand to gain.
“Kindly stand by us and we will ensure that we spearhead development in the county above all ensure that we create more jobs for the youths,” he added.
