Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo has cautioned his predecessor Rashid Bedzimba against challenging his election in court.Speaking during a NASA rally in the constituency over the weekend, the lawmaker noted that Bedzimba's petition against his win was a waste of time, adding that he should drop it."Let him not waste his own time and let him not waste Kisauni people's time. Kisauni people give you five years and they will not disturb you. They will let you work. But if you fail them they will red card you. We red carded him (Bedzimba),” said Mbogo."Children are at home due to lack of fees. We are yet to get CDF money. But he uses Sh5 million for a court case. This will force me to use another Sh5 million for the case,” he added.Mbogo, who was elected on a Wiper Party ticket, said he won the August 8 election fairly, adding that he would still beat Bedzimba should there be a by-election."Wherever he goes, the rod is still the same, the people are the same and the stand is still the same. They will not change,” he stated.Mbogo clinched the seat after garnering 34,898 votes, against Bedzimba’s 29,752.
